On Being A Multipotentialite: Lesson 5 of 31:
As you consider embracing your talents and interests, remember, purpose outweighs potential.
Every Monday, I send you a letter focused on helping you become the best you. You can subscribe here so you do not miss any letters:
Are you a multipotentialite, gifted in many areas? It is natural to struggle with focusing on one thing – I’ve been there.
As you consider embracing your talents and interests, remember, purpose outweighs potential.
Permit me to draw a comparison with the life of Jesus Christ. He could have pursued many paths, yet his purpose remained clear. He focused on his why – to save the world through his sacrifice and resurrection – amidst various potentials (healer, carpenter, teacher, evangelist, pastor, wine manufacturer, social worker, etc.).
While it may be tempting to explore all your potentials, focus on your why. Let your why guide your decisions and actions, rather than pursuing multiple talents for their own sake.
By prioritising your why, everything else will fall into place.
Wishing you courage and clarity on your path,
O’Seye
